The Power Platform Conference in Las Vegas was a great opportunity for Avanade to connect with clients, partners, and Microsoft experts and learn about the latest innovations and best practices in the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. As a platinum sponsor of the event, we were delighted to showcase our thought leadership, solutions, and success stories in the Power Platform space.

Unsurprisingly, many of the highlights of the conference focused on AI and Copilots, Microsoft’s AI assistants, which took the headlines with a range of announcements designed to make organizations more agile and innovative at speed and scale.

With the deeper integration of Copilot into Power Apps, makers can now build faster than ever, using natural language to get answers to app building questions. It’s even possible to embed Copilot in a canvas Power App for end users to create custom AI assistants for end users. 

Copilot in Power Automate makes it even simpler for users to create flows, and Process Mining gets extended with Power BI insights to help organizations identify and prioritize processes, understand efficiencies, and spot bottlenecks.

The everlasting topic of governance reared its head too, and Copilot even has a role to play here, with the ability to automatically create deployment notes and app descriptions as just one example.

We shared our tips and tricks on how to design, develop, and deploy effective and efficient Power Automation solutions and showcased some of the success stories we have delivered for our clients across various industries and domains. With Process Mining and Copilot, we’re already helping clients identify their priority workflow candidates for automation and upskilling makers to build the flows that will have the biggest business impact.

Uncovering business value from Power Platform Copilots
GenAI and Copilots were the hot topics at the conference, and not just in the keynotes. We’ve been helping clients understand the AI use cases for their organizations and again, had hundreds of people watch a demo showing our Generative AI digital assistant write email responses and automatically update ERP and CRM platforms. We’ve already helped clients to leverage Copilots and Generative AI to fill their digital gaps and had numerous conversations with conference attendees around the real world use cases where Power Platform and GenAI can solve complex business problems and improve business and employee efficiency. The Generative AI era promises business agility and speed like never before.
