Avanade employees recognized for inclusion and diversity work in their community

At Avanade, we recognize that inclusion and diversity initiatives are invaluable to the success of a business and its employees. In fact, two of our core values – we change things for the better and we believe everyone counts - are embodied by our commitment to building inclusive and diverse workplaces and communities. To underscore this, twice each year our CEO, Adam Warby, recognizes employees who make an impact in advancing inclusion and diversity at work or in their community with the CEO’s Excellence in Inclusion & Diversity Award.

According to Elizabeth Derby, global Inclusion and Diversity lead at Avanade, we want to encourage our people to turn words into concrete actions to achieve sustainable change.

Our most recent award recipients are Herjit Saini and Ismael Quteifan from Avanade Australia who are being honored for their work with Avanade Australia’s Cultural Diversity Group and the 2018 Australia Day campaign. The Cultural Diversity Group focused its efforts on representing the Australia Day experience of recent immigrants to Australia and new Australian citizens. This initiative helped integrate new team members into the organization and emphasized the importance of celebrating Australia Day.
