I’ve spent the past 8 years of my career at Avanade, and I couldn’t enjoy my work more. As an Infrastructure Consultant, I take pride in fully understanding my client’s needs, then proposing and delivering the best solution.

One of the things I like most about my position, is that although the objectives of each program are clearly defined, I have the freedom to choose the right path and actions to deliver results. This allows me to utilize my strengths, while also creatively coming up with new ways to solve problems.

Outside of work, my real life consists greatly of spending time with my son. Leading up to his birth, the digital workplace at Avanade allowed me to stay connected, even when I needed to work remotely. It’s these same digital workplace benefits I deliver for our clients and their employees.

Speaking of benefits, Avanade Japan provides one year of maternity leave, followed by a flexible and shortened work schedule until the child is three years old. I’ve taken full advantage of this perk, which has given me the opportunity to balance a real career with a real life at home.
