Jayne joined Mater’s Digital Technology and Information team in 2017 as Digital Applications Manager, leading the implementation of My Health Record access to Mater and the upload of Diagnostic reports. Most recently Jayne has been in the position of Director Health and Informatics where she has delivered of a number of solutions including new capabilities to support Mater’s response to COVID-19.
With foundations in Medical Imaging, Jayne has actively pursued a career in Clinical Informatics and Digital Health. She has held a variety of roles implementing and adopting technology in clinical practice, with experience delivering clinical system and software development projects in private and public sector organizations. Jayne also holds a leadership role with the Australian Institute of Digital Health, and is a Clinical Reference Lead for the Australian Digital Health Agency.
Dr Simon Kos

Dr. Simon Kos is a registered medical practitioner who has practiced critical care medicine in Australia. He has an MBBS from UNSW and an MBA with a major in change management from AGSM. He has worked in digital health for almost twenty years with Microsoft, Cerner, Intersystems and Next Practice. Significant past roles include global chief medical officer of Microsoft, CEO of Next Practice, Physician Executive with Cerner, and the co-chair of the Global Commission to end the Diagnostic Odyssey for children with a Rare Disease. He is currently a Health Executive with Microsoft Australia, a Medical Advisor at Next Practice, a mentor in the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme, and an investor in digital health startups./p>
John Zelcer

Dr. John Zelcer is a healthcare strategy consultant and clinician whose distinguished record spans more than 40 years, covering the private, public and not-for-profit healthcare sectors in clinical, strategic, operational and governance roles. John’s clinical and academic career as an anesthesiologist included a subspecialty focus on obstetrics and gynaecology, urology, head and neck surgery, and neurosurgery. His research focus was primarily on safe anaesthesia practice and the beneficial role of information technology.
His business roles have included board chairmanship, board directorship, and senior executive roles in strategic planning and business development in healthcare services and products companies. In addition he has held strategy management consulting, investment banking advisory and medical technology development roles, and has worked with Tier 1 consulting firms in senior strategic advisory roles, with a key focus on governance, quality and safety in healthcare management.
