From your first day here, we support you through mentorships, buddy programs, full training programs, and certification opportunities.

Your topic of focus

After applying to one of the projects, you will have the opportunity to pick a topic of focus of your liking within it. You will be part of a skilled team that will help you learn more about the area of your expertise. Unique training program

We have a unique training program with no less than 15 training days per year! Throughout your career at Avanade, you will continue to train to make sure to move along with the rapid developments in technology, consultancy and management. That is how you will get the certifications you need to boost your career -the Microsoft Certification, for example-, which is funded by us.

Your path to success

Our goal is that you fulfill your assignment successfully at the end of your internship. But that you also leave with a set of soft skills and valuable connections that you can use to jumpstart your career!

What will your day to day at Avanade look like?

Next to working on your thesis research, Avanade offers you…

• A supervisor who is specialized in the area of your thesis. Your supervisor will advise you on your research and will guide you in your new adventure at Avanade

• Your internship is an opportunity to explore the world of IT consultancy and get to learn more about Avanade. During your internship we organize numerous sessions with our experts to give you an insight in their day-to-day work.

• We want to make sure that you get to experience the - a training program that will give you the opportunity to increase your skills and even obtain Microsoft certifications. We value limitless learning at Avanade, and this already starts during your internship.

• We make sure you are connected with other interns at Avanade, every 6 months several interns are selected to form our Intern’s committee. This committee organizes fun activities for our interns like drinks and parties.

• A super modern and sustainable office where you as an intern can work!

You may be wondering - FAQs

What can I do to make my application stand out? 
Your CV is a great way to make a powerful impression to an employer, therefore a clear and concise CV is always a great place to start. Try to keep to no more than two pages, list your key skills and achievements and remember to include the dates of your academic studies and work experiences. Avanade believe in creating a company that welcomes every individual so be sure to bring your genuine self through the application.
I haven’t got some of the skills required for the position, should I still apply? 
Yes, we would absolutely encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all the listed required skills on the job advert. Our candidates are from diverse backgrounds which means that their skills and experiences will differ. We are looking for candidates who are passionate, driven and most importantly eager to learn and grow within their role.  
I’ve not previously considered working for a consultancy: what does life as a consultant look? 
No two days are the same in consulting. If you thrive on problem solving, want to take risks and perform best when collaborating, then consulting could absolutely be for you!  As a consultant, you will be working on cutting-edge projects, delivering solutions and services to our clients. Our clients can be large global organisations or smaller niche companies and they can fall into multiple industry sectors — this makes Avanade a great place for learning to kickstart your career.
