We want to enable young people and their communities to achieve more through the power of our people and digital innovation.

The workforce of tomorrow

We recognise there’s no shortage of worthy causes in the world today. But we want to channel our energy toward one that is near to our hearts and our business: preparing the next generation, with a special focus on young women, to join the digital workforce of the future. Our focus is to make a genuine human impact by empowering and upskilling young men and women through a range of opportunities and programs, including the following:

  • Our Avanade STEM Scholarship, for young women wishing to study the STEM disciplines
  • Our partnership with Junior Achievement, which offers young men and women the opportunity to learn about business, leadership and entrepreneurship
  • Our new initiative, Technology for Social Good, which is about delivering Microsoft technologies to non-profit organisations and charities in the social sector
