Business Situation

To assist its efforts in increasing the value of the collective knowledge of the company, Aker Solutions built an enterprise-wide knowledge-sharing platform, with social collaboration technologies, based on Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013.

Ensuring Success

The knowledge-sharing platform, named Knowledge Arena, is a state-of-the-art platform that helps Aker Solutions to boost productivity, increase quality and improve customer service. To measure ROI and to ensure successful adoption of the platform, Aker Solutions asked Avanade to provide analytics for the platform.

Avanade offers large enterprises a collaboration analytics platform called ASAP – Avanade Smart Analytics Platform. The solution makes it possible to measure adoption and usage of different collaborative solutions, such as Lync and SharePoint, and can also be used during a collaboration project to ensure uptake and success.

Aker Solutions has implemented ASAP from Avanade for SharePoint 2013. Using ASAP, Aker Solutions can now gain insights on how their teams collaborate, share knowledge across locations and organizational units, and take appropriate actions to continuously build a global corporate culture for knowledge-sharing.
