Improving application maintenance for leading Danish telco

Business Situation

TDC wanted to outsource the application maintenance and management of a range of Microsoft based applications. The goal was to achieve a flexible, scalable and cost effective arrangement which would support the business effectively for current and future needs.


Thanks to Avanade, TDC now has a responsive service that can deal with requests and incidents quickly, effectively and efficiently. The Avanade team is able to take responsibility for finding solutions to problems and working creatively to deliver a high quality service to TDC. The result is a happy client and a well-managed set of applications.

Customer Solution

Avanade developed a service model that combined a constant core team to provide continuity and a flexible team that could scale to meet TDC’s needs, both in terms of workload and skills profile. In addition, the model can be expanded to include new applications. Avanade is providing the service from our global delivery centre in Pune India working closely together with the TDC Capacity Manager who is supported onshore by Avanade on a regular basis. The contract runs for four years from December 2011.
