Ghent, February 1, 2018 – Avanade Belgium, IT consultancy company and subsidiary of Accenture and Microsoft, has been awarded with the Top Employer 2018 certificate. This gives the company international recognition for its progressive HR policy. Avanade offers its employees a special guarantee of personal development, diversity and a pleasant work environment. This is the fourth time Avanade has received the certificate.

Avanade, IT service provider and subsidiary of Accenture and Microsoft, was named Top Employer again this year in Belgium. For the fourth time, the company, which is located in Ghent, is recognized for its distinctive qualities as an employer.

The IT consultancy company believes diversity and an agreeable working environment are of the utmost importance. Avanade is actively working on a mixed workforce, with male as well as female consultants. A tailor-made program also gives students and those without a degree the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the IT sector.

In addition, Avanade encourages friendship between colleagues and wellbeing at work through initiatives such as internal sports competitions, monthly drinks, a summer barbecue and an annual ski trip. Recently, the company also introduced a new gaming corner in the office at Merelbeke.
