AMCO S.p.A, previously known as SGA S.p.A., is an Italian debt management and recovery company founded in 1989. Due to its growth and expansion across the country, the company needed a collaboration platform where employees in different locations and departments could share information and communicate more effectively.
Solution
Avanade helped AMCO create a modern and integrated digital workplace solution that supports employees’ daily work activities and the company’s business needs. We implemented the Avanade SharePoint Intranet Accelerator (ASIA) asset, which supports modern workplace solutions. The ASIA widget framework seamlessly integrates with Microsoft 365 by introducing interaction patterns, widgets and features that extend the workplace experience to all employees – anywhere and on any device. The scalability and flexibility of the technology solution modules support speed to market and other business needs. Change management and digital coaching helped with user adoption.
Results
The new intranet provides a virtual meeting place for a diverse group of employees in terms of age, culture and experience, helping to improve internal communications and define AMCO’s corporate identity. Other benefits include:
