The AI Architect Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for designing, developing, and scaling enterprise AI solutions aligned to business strategy and measurable outcomes. This role serves as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, enabling clients to establish, mature, and scale their AI programs across the Microsoft ecosystem.

The incumbent will lead AI architectural design and end-to-end solutioning and sales efforts, including opportunity origination, qualification, solution shaping, and delivery, by evaluating business processes, operating models, and application architectures to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing AI solutions tailored to client environments. This role is responsible for translating complex business requirements into actionable AI architectures that deliver tangible value and measurable client outcomes.

What you'll do

• Provide leadership and oversight for AI solution architecture, ensuring alignment with client business strategies, technical requirements, and industry best practices.
• Own and drive end-to-end sales cycles, including opportunity identification, qualification, solution shaping, proposal development, pricing inputs, and deal closure.
• Partner with account teams and clients to originate and develop AI opportunities, aligning solutions to business value and measurable outcomes.
• Translate business requirements into AI solution scope, value propositions, and scalable architectural designs in collaboration with AI teams and Solution Architects.
• Analyze client processes, systems, and data landscapes to identify AI transformation opportunities and recommend appropriate approaches based on client maturity.
• Lead solutioning activities including estimation, technical design, and proposal development across the pre-sales and delivery lifecycle.
• Deliver AI engagements in roles including AI SME, Solution Architect, or Technical Architect, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Provide governance, quality assurance, and best practice guidance across AI project teams related to delivery approach, design, and implementation.
• Facilitate client workshops, stakeholder meetings, and pre-sales presentations to articulate AI value, solution approach, and business impact.
• Develop and contribute to AI assets, accelerators, and methodologies to enhance organizational capability, sales effectiveness, and delivery efficiency.
• Collaborate across global teams and partner ecosystems to share knowledge, drive innovation, and scale AI capabilities.

As a Microsoft-specialized Agentic AI Senior Manager in AMBG, you will lead origination and pre‑sales solutioning for high‑impact opportunities, steer C‑suite conversations, and provide technical leadership across the Microsoft AI platform. You’ll create compelling visions and roadmaps, architect solution approaches (from POV to pilot to scaled deployment), and orchestrate cross‑functional teams from Accenture, Avanade, and Microsoft to win and deliver transformative outcomes. 

What you´ll do​

• Deal Shaping & Pre Sales Solutioning 

• Own end‑to‑end pursuit leadership for agentic AI opportunities: discovery, value hypothesis, solution blueprint, estimation, risk/RAI posture, and commercial constructs; partner closely with AMBG sellers and Microsoft field teams. 

• Translate business strategies into technical architectures using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Dynamics 365 Copilots, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry (Azure AI Studio), Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Search, Azure AI Agent Service, Azure ML, and Microsoft Fabric. 

• Build defendable, scalable proposals and SOWs; align solution scope, staffing model, and delivery approach to client outcomes and risk profile. 

• C-level Storytelling & Executive Advisory 

• Craft crisp, board‑level narratives that connect industry problems to agentic AI outcomes; use data‑backed storytelling to secure executive sponsorship and funding. (Aligned to Senior Manager executive communication expectations.) 

• Facilitate exec workshops to shape transformation agendas, operating models, value cases, and governance for Copilots and autonomous agents. 

• Technical Leadership & Architecture 

• Define reference architectures and patterns for agentic workflows (planning, reasoning, tools, memory), orchestration, retrieval (RAG), evaluation, guardrails, and observability on Azure. 

• Guide teams building POCs and accelerators with Copilot Studio (low‑code) and Azure AI Foundry (pro‑code), including Prompt Flow‑based evals, content safety, and end‑to‑end MLOps/GenAIOps. 

• Ensure secure‑by‑design solutions across identity, data, Responsible AI, compliance, and lifecycle governance for enterprise deployment. 

• Delivery Readiness & Scale 

• Create phased roadmaps (POV → pilot → scaled rollout), acceptance criteria, KPIs, and value tracking to realize outcomes post‑sale.

Summary
The Microsoft Technology Account Lead (MTAL) is responsible for building trusted client account relationships with Accenture and Microsoft stakeholders as well as clients themselves, whilst leading sales, revenue, delivery, and client satisfaction for Microsoft focused deliverables.

As the Microsoft lead, the MTAL will work closely with Accenture Account Leadership to create, own, execute and maintain the plan for strategic business growth on the Microsoft platform across one or more accounts within Consumer Goods.

Key Accountabilities
Account Management

• Work as a key Microsoft advisor and go-to-contact for clients and Accenture Account Leadership. Builds and manages Microsoft relationships with client C-suite at one or more priority accounts.
• Manage key, strategic client relationships either personally or through a medium to large account team.
• Develop and implement a relationship management plan for strategic, complex existing accounts to build key relationships at decision making levels.
• Consult with a range of customer representatives at different levels to identify the outcomes they require, introducing relevant internal specialists and utilizing their expertise to gather and analyze complex customer data, clarify mid- to long-term customer needs, and develop and agree to a specification of customer requirements.
• Develop prescribed solutions and generate new opportunities by maintaining relationships with partner organizations to ensure smooth integration or a successful alliance execution.

Account Leadership

• Lead the development and implementation of a Microsoft strategy to ensure that intended business benefits are realized and tracked within and across client account(s).
• Champion a Microsoft AI and innovation stream within the overall Accenture account plan, ensuring the right resources are in place to execute the strategy.

Selling

• Act as a Trusted Advisor: Build credibility through deep Microsoft product knowledge and consulting expertise to originate and expand a portfolio of Microsoft work.
• Lead Solution Configuration: Direct cross-functional teams to design complex, tailored Microsoft solutions—including products, services, and contractual terms—that align with the customer’s mid- to long-term strategic needs.
• Manage Bid Responses: Oversee the development of pricing strategies, contract terms, and risk controls in response to RFPs, tenders, and bid solicitations.
