As an AI Engineer, you will help clients understand and extract insight and value from their data using Microsoft AI technologies. Working as part of a team, you will be involved in all phases of AI projects including question/use case formulation, design, research, build, and testing. What you'll do:

• Customer readiness and onboarding, nominations review, and use case vetting processes

• Proof of Concept solution design and prototyping with AI technology, with a primary focus on AI capabilities like OCR, NLP, reasoning with LLMs, AI agents, and AI Search with traditional and vector DBs and a secondary focus on machine learning

• Produce solutions for clients working with both structured and unstructured data applying these AI capabilities

• Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and share key learnings, run customer engagement reports and project retrospective reports as well as provide summary for customer & logging product bugs with engineering team

• Provide facility tours, manage demo showcase, and process improvements

• Communicate insights to help steer business strategy and decision-making

As part of the leadership team in a growing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) practice, this role oversees digital transformation initiatives that enhance customer experience, optimize costs, and drive business outcomes. Responsibilities include managing Digital Marketing client engagements, leading all phases of the software development lifecycle—estimation, design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and support. The role also involves leading the design, architecture, development, testing, and deployment of AEM Web and Mobile solutions, collaborating with clients, designers, product owners, developers, system administrators, project managers, business analysts, and end users to build a cutting-edge Digital Platform using Adobe’s Digital Marketing Product Suite. Ensuring engineering excellence, the role promotes Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and comprehensive documentation. Additionally, it requires implementing strategies based on business needs, long-term objectives, and creative design, while providing technical guidance to AEM developers on best practices for both front-end and back-end development. Hands-on coding is required when necessary, alongside architectural input on server environment configuration, clustering, caching, CDN usage, and security. Leading project teams of 10+ AEM developers across onsite and remote global locations, the role also contributes to collateral development for efficient AEM project implementation. Periodic travel to client sites (domestic) is expected up to 80% of the time. Must live within reasonable commuting distance of Houston, TX. Compensation at Avanade varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As a Data Protection Consultant, you’ll lead the delivery of data protection and data governance solutions for Avanade clients. You’ll bring hands-on technical expertise, own project outcomes, and guide clients and junior team members through complex security and compliance initiatives.

What you’ll do

· Lead or co-lead client engagements focused on data protection and data governance.

· Design and implement Microsoft Purview solutions (e.g., sensitivity labeling strategies, advanced DLP policies/integrations, Purview DSPM, data lifecycle/retention controls).

· Perform threat mapping and gap analysis across structured, unstructured, cloud, and on-premises data.

· Facilitate client workshops and stakeholder discussions to translate requirements into scalable, secure Microsoft-based solutions.

· Own solution design decisions, configuration, and technical documentation.

· Provide technical mentorship to Analysts and Senior Analysts; lead workstreams or small teams.

· Contribute to estimations, delivery planning, and risk management.

· Support solutioning efforts, proposals, and internal capability development.

· Build awareness and controls for emerging AI and agentic AI security considerations (e.g., Security Copilot).
