As an AI Engineer, you will help clients understand and extract insight and value from their data using Microsoft AI technologies. Working as part of a team, you will be involved in all phases of AI projects including question/use case formulation, design, research, build, and testing. What you'll do:
Customer readiness and onboarding, nominations review, and use case vetting processes
Proof of Concept solution design and prototyping with AI technology, with a primary focus on AI capabilities like OCR, NLP, reasoning with LLMs, AI agents, and AI Search with traditional and vector DBs and a secondary focus on machine learning
Produce solutions for clients working with both structured and unstructured data applying these AI capabilities
Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and share key learnings, run customer engagement reports and project retrospective reports as well as provide summary for customer & logging product bugs with engineering team
Provide facility tours, manage demo showcase, and process improvements
Communicate insights to help steer business strategy and decision-making

About the Role:
As an AI Workforce intern you will work with our Engineers and Developers to:
- Develop infrastructure, platforms, and automations to create new and more effective "ways of working".
- Develop AI-driven solutions using Copilot Studio and Agentic AI to create automations and agents that transform the “ways of working”.
- Help define and establish IT operations, processes, procedures, toolsets, and automations to manage and maintain client solutions.
- Support change management efforts as directed by senior team members and change specialists.

As a Data Protection Consultant, you’ll lead the delivery of data protection and data governance solutions for Avanade clients. You’ll bring hands-on technical expertise, own project outcomes, and guide clients and junior team members through complex security and compliance initiatives.
What you’ll do
· Lead or co-lead client engagements focused on data protection and data governance.
· Design and implement Microsoft Purview solutions (e.g., sensitivity labeling strategies, advanced DLP policies/integrations, Purview DSPM, data lifecycle/retention controls).
· Perform threat mapping and gap analysis across structured, unstructured, cloud, and on-premises data.
· Facilitate client workshops and stakeholder discussions to translate requirements into scalable, secure Microsoft-based solutions.
· Own solution design decisions, configuration, and technical documentation.
· Provide technical mentorship to Analysts and Senior Analysts; lead workstreams or small teams.
· Contribute to estimations, delivery planning, and risk management.
· Support solutioning efforts, proposals, and internal capability development.
