Life at Avanade Ireland

With over 25 different nationalities within our team, Avanade Ireland’s focus is on inclusion and diversity. We are committed to welcoming and supporting every individual and harnessing the unique perspective that they bring. As part of this commitment we have launched internal forums and resource sites where like-minded employees can find and support each other. We have also created an LGBTQ+ ally network and partner with many diversity organisations, such as Connecting Women in Technology.

In our efforts to build a truly inclusive workplace, Avanade Ireland’s workforce consists of 40% female employees. We hope to increase this to 45% in the next fiscal year. We are also dedicated to encouraging more young people into technology roles. To this end we are supported by organisations including Junior Achievement Ireland (in association with Microsoft). We also participate in the FIT apprentice programme and have created the VelocITy Graduate campaign.
