Pamela Maynard
Pamela Maynard
Chief Executive Officer

CEO Pamela Maynard believes Avanade’s purpose is to make a genuine human impact. She is committed to Avanade’s vision: to be the leading digital innovator, creating great experiences as we realise results for our clients and their customers through the power of people and the Microsoft ecosystem. She says three of the most important things she does are to make sure our clients are successful on their digital journeys, ensure we stay on the pulse of the next wave of technology, and make sure our Avanade team feels inspired, confident and cared for.

Before being named CEO in September 2019, Pamela was President of Product and Innovation, focused on defining and delivering innovative solutions for our clients. Earlier in her Avanade career she was President of our European organisation after serving as General Manager of Avanade UK.

Pamela is a passionate supporter of diversity and inclusion and is the executive sponsor of our Women’s Employee Resource Group, which inspires women and empowers connections to drive personal and professional growth and innovation. She also is executive sponsor of our Technology for Social Good initiative, through which we bring the power of our cloud and digital technology skills and expertise to non-profit organisations, digitally transforming their work and accelerating their social impact.

Pamela draws inspiration from the varied backgrounds and cultures she encounters as she travels the world. When she is not meeting with clients or inspiring our teams, you will find her enjoying time with family and friends.

Ken Guthrie
Ken Guthrie
Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer

Ken Guthrie holds dual roles at Avanade: Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. As CFO, Ken is responsible for all of Avanade’s investment strategy and management, as well as its financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, tax, internal audit, financial planning and treasury. As COO, he is responsible for the company’s operating performance and global business operations.

Ken joined Avanade in 2012 after a 19-year career at Accenture, where he was a senior executive focusing on client financial management, program management, business operations and negotiation/commercial disciplines. For the last 5 years at Accenture, he was the Director of Operations and Finance for Accenture’s $2 billion Resources North America operating group.

Ken is a graduate of Arizona State University.

Bob Bruns

Chief Information & Security Officer

As Avanade Chief Information & Security Officer, Bob Bruns is responsible for Avanade’s internal enterprise technology and for delivering the technology capabilities that power the company’s people and operations worldwide. In addition, he is responsible for Avanade information security, client data protection, incident management, asset protection, and business continuity programmes. As CI&SO, Bob and his teams work with clients to ensure we meet their information security obligations.

Previously Bob was Vice President of Infrastructure Services and Global Operations, accountable for delivery of Avanade’s enterprise infrastructure services worldwide, including security, end-user enablement, collaboration, hosting and network services. Earlier in his career, he spent 14 years with Accenture, serving as Director of Unified Communications & Collaboration Services.

Bob holds a degree in Information Decision Science from the University of Illinois, as well as advanced leadership programme certifications from the Foster School of Business, University of Washington, and the Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley.

Dave Gartenberg
Chief Human Resources Officer

As Chief Human Resources Officer, Dave Gartenberg is responsible for the strategic direction of all aspects of Avanade’s people management, including training and development, performance management and succession planning. He also plays a key role in helping to enhance the employee experience and advance Avanade as a digital workplace.

Dave comes to Avanade from Slalom, where he was the CHRO for the past four years during a period of high growth. Dave began his career as an economic analyst, before shifting direction to organisational effectiveness. Earlier in his career, he spent 13 years at Microsoft in a variety of roles, including HR general manager of the company’s Customer Services and Support organisation.

Dave holds an MBA with a concentration in organisational behaviour.

As Chief Growth Officer, Craig Gorsline is responsible for driving the Avanade strategy end to end across our business. As part of his portfolio, Craig leads strategy development and execution, global sales, our industry programs and ecosystem development, innovation and product incubation, as well as emerging technology and client experience. Integral to that work is his global leadership responsibility for Avanade Advisory and his work with Accenture and Microsoft to align Avanade’s focus on innovation and emerging technologies around the world.

Previously Craig was President, Co-CEO and Chief Commercial Officer of ThoughtWorks, a global technology firm with a digital engineering focus, where he was accountable for driving revenues of more than $500 million in technology and consulting services. Prior to ThoughtWorks, Craig spent time as a senior executive at JPMorganChase in the Treasury Services Technology Group, as well as with a boutique technology consulting firm in Canada.

Craig holds a degree in criminology and psychology from Simon Fraser University and an MBA in digital technologies from Royal Roads University.

As CMO, Stella Goulet leads Avanade’s marketing strategy and award-winning global marketing team. She is responsible for guiding the company’s image and market development through a period of high growth and significant change in the IT industry as businesses become increasingly digital. She is Avanade’s first CMO and a member of its executive leadership team.

In her career, Stella has covered every marketing aspect of a business-to-business services firm: packaging and promoting solutions, field marketing, content and thought leadership development, branding, advertising, digital marketing, media and analyst relations, and marketing for major acquisitions.

She is a member of Forrester’s CMO Group and has served on the Information Technology Services Marketing Association (ITSMA) Advisory Board. Stella speaks and writes on a variety of marketing-related topics that focus on helping grow profitable businesses in the digital world. These include client experience, the CMO-CIO relationship, digital marketing, agile marketing and the role of artificial intelligence in marketing.

A strong proponent of diversity in the IT industry, she is executive sponsor of Avanade’s Prism Employee Resource Group (LGBT + inclusion), and is involved in activities designed to encourage girls and young women to consider careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

Stella holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was a Morehead-Cain Scholar.

Bob Malone

General Counsel

Avanade General Counsel Bob Malone comes to Avanade from a 20-year career at Accenture, where he has had a broad portfolio of leadership roles, including co-leading the North America Contracting team within the Accenture Legal group.

Before joining Avanade Bob also served as director of legal services for Accenture’s Products Operating Group and as global post-merger integration contracting lead. Bob well understands Avanade’s technology-focused culture. Before moving into law, he began his career as a systems engineer for Electronic Data Systems, developing large-scale systems for government clients.

Bob holds a law degree from St. Louis University School of Law, an MBA from St. Louis University John Cook School of Business, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas.

Gord Mawhinney
Executive, Business Applications Global Lead

Gord Mawhinney leads Avanade’s global Business Applications organisation, which includes responsibility for the clients, strategy and teams focused on the company’s finance and operations (ERP), customer engagement (CRM) and digital marketing offerings.

Gord has nearly three decades of leadership experience, from early-career technical, consulting, sales, delivery and management positions with companies such as IBM to an entrepreneurial career building award-winning business application software and professional services companies. Before joining Avanade, he most recently served as CEO of Long View Systems, a hybrid IT company. Gord has also served on several nonprofit boards, including the Entrepreneurs Organisation and the Young Presidents Organisation and is engaged with technology-focused venture capital work as well.

Gord is a focused lifelong learner, most recently completing a master’s degree in leadership from Royal Roads University and his ICD-D designation with the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Executive, Global Solutions and Delivery

Eric Miquelon has responsibility for Avanade’s global solutions and delivery, as well as Avanade’s Applications & Infrastructure business. As part of his portfolio, he leads our Solutions and Delivery Management organisation, our network of digital innovation studios, and manages our partner ecosystem. Eric and his teams work with organisations to transform their businesses, using the latest modern software engineering approaches and cloud architectures. At the heart of this business is Modern Application Transformation, which delivers reimagined application development, application modernisation and managed services.

Eric joined Avanade from Accenture more than 15 years ago. He has had an extensive Avanade career that spans client-facing, business leadership and partner management roles. Prior to his current role, Eric served as Chief Operating Officer of Avanade Europe. He started his Avanade career by leading client deliveries, focused on developing and integrating complex business systems.

Bernie Neville

Executive, Global Business Management

Bernie Neville leads Avanade’s Global Business Management organisation. She is responsible for managing the company operating system, which includes oversight of strategy implementation and management of key leadership forums. In addition, Bernie works across all business units and functions to drive continuous improvement and simplification of business activities to improve performance and effectiveness.

Previously Bernie served as Europe’s chief operating officer, responsible for executing Avanade’s strategy and operational excellence across all European regions, as well as managing Avanade’s expansion into Brazil and South Africa. Earlier in her Avanade career, Bernie held a number of global and European roles focused on geographic expansion, enterprise process and systems implementation, alliance management and business operations management.

In addition to her 15 years with Avanade, Bernie spent 10 years at Andersen Consulting (Accenture) as a process and technology consulting advisor working with clients in the UK, Ireland, France and Latin America to implement business solutions to drive improved business performance and growth.

Bernie holds a business degree from University College Dublin.

Florin Rotar
Executive, Global Modern Workplace and AMBG

Florin Rotar leads the strategy and execution of Avanade’s global Modern Workplace business, where we reimagine and redefine the workplace as a creator of sustainable business value, and Accenture's Microsoft Business Group (AMBG) business in the areas of Digital Workplace and Workplace Experience.

Curious by nature and a technologist by trade ever since he wrote his first program on a Commodore 64 as a child, Florin was the company’s first Chief Technology Innovation Officer. He has had key roles leading Avanade’s Digital Market Unit globally, and establishing and growing Avanade’s business in the UK and the Nordic region, both as a senior practitioner and as a leader. His early career was with Accenture, Procter & Gamble and as a start-up entrepreneur.

Florin is a world citizen, having spent most of his adult life working in five European capitals. He and his family now call Seattle home.

Simon Thomas
Executive, Data and Applied Intelligence

Simon Thomas leads Avanade’s global data and applied intelligence (AI) business, which harnesses the combined power of AI, analytics and intelligent automation to help our clients apply data-driven intelligence into everything they do. Avanade’s data and AI group encompasses data platform modernisation, intelligent industry solutions and intelligent automation.

Simon joins Avanade from IBM where he held regional and global leadership roles in the areas of CRM, business analytics, Digital, IoT and AI, driving sales, strategic growth and delivery excellence. In his most recent role, he was responsible for growing its AI and Cognitive Consulting practice. Prior to his AI work, Simon led business analytics for IBM’s growth regions and built the company’s digital consulting practice in Asia Pacific.

Simon began his career as a consultant and retains a passion for building and nurturing strong consulting practices that earn client trust and deliver value. Simon holds a degree in music, music production and engineering from Berklee College and a master of science in manufacturing engineering from Boston University.

Avanade CEO Emeritus Adam Warby was named to the role after serving as CEO from 2008 to 2019.

Adam joined Avanade as a founding member of the team in 2000. He became Avanade’s second CEO in September 2008, succeeding Mitch Hill, and has been instrumental in accelerating the rotation of the company to focus on digital, cloud and the rapid growth of the company’s direct business. Under his leadership, Avanade revenues have nearly tripled, from $0.9 billion in fiscal 2008 to $2.5 billion in fiscal 2018. The company has grown to 36,000 professionals and, with Accenture, comprises the largest group of Microsoft-skilled professionals in the world.

A true global citizen, during his tenure Adam helped expand the company’s footprint, adding seven new countries, for a total of 26 countries around the globe, and closing seven acquisitions to help fuel the company’s growth.

Adam is a vocal supporter of inclusion and diversity and was a driving force behind the creation of Avanade’s corporate citizenship mission to enable young people and their communities to achieve more through the power of digital innovation.

He is chairman of Junior Achievement Europe, chairman of the board of Heidrick & Struggles, and a member of the board of SimCorp. When he is working, you will most likely find him in an airport. If he isn’t, look for a tennis court or a ski slope.

Anna Di Silverio
President, Growth Markets

Anna Di Silverio, president of Growth Markets, is responsible for Avanade’s accelerated growth and business operations in Australia, Brazil, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and South Africa.

Previously Anna served as Growth Markets’ chief operating officer, responsible for executing Avanade’s strategy and operational excellence across all Growth Markets regions. Earlier in her Avanade career, she was general manager of Avanade Italy. Under her leadership, the Italy region consistently delivered year-on-year double-digit growth, driven by Anna’s commitment to building a high-performing team and diverse workforce; a strong collaborative partnership with Accenture and Microsoft; and a relentless focus on helping Avanade clients realise results, attributes she brings to all subsequent roles.

Anna has 15 years of Microsoft experience, holding different roles and responsibilities in the areas of services and sales, most recently as Microsoft Services Director and as Public Sector Director. She began her career as a networking architecture researcher in the Computer Sciences Department of the University of Pisa. Earlier in her career, she was a software architect.

Anna holds a degree in computer sciences from the University of Pisa.

Darren Hardman

As President, Europe, Darren Hardman is responsible for directing strategy and operations across Avanade Europe’s 13 geographies. Darren’s previous roles include General Manager of Avanade UK & Ireland and Chief Operating Officer of Avanade’s North America Area, responsible for developing and executing the North America business strategy, including sales, organisational strategy and core business functions.

Earlier in his Avanade career, Darren was Global Senior Vice President, Sales, introducing a global customer segmentation taxonomy, a uniform planning process, a single global sales cycle process and structured account management. Prior to joining Avanade, Darren spent more than 15 years at Accenture, most recently as a senior executive within the Technology Growth Platform.

Darren holds a degree in Econometrics (Economics & Mathematics) from the University of Nottingham, U.K., and an MBA with Distinction from Imperial College London, U.K.

Dave Seybold
President, North America

As President, North America, Dave Seybold is responsible for guiding the sales, delivery and operations of Avanade's largest business. Working closely with the United States and Canada leadership team, Dave is responsible for delivering consistent, high-quality results for Avanade's North American clients.

Dave joined Avanade as global Chief Operating Officer in 2015 and, as part of his role, was the executive sponsor for Microsoft Dynamics, one of the fastest growing segments in the Microsoft portfolio. Dave has a deep understanding of the business and market opportunities we have in the market. Prior to Avanade, Dave spent more than 25 years with IBM as a systems engineer, consultant, partner and leader in Global Business Services.

He holds a BS in Quantitative Analysis and a BA in Economics from Penn State University, an MS in Operations Research and an MBA from the University of Maryland, Smith School of Business.

Raghavan Iyer has more than 22 years of experience in the IT sector and has held leadership positions in companies such as Honeywell, Syntel and Accenture prior to joining Avanade in 2010.

Raghavan currently leads Avanade Advanced Technology Centers, overseeing more than 25,000 professionals across the world.

During his tenure at Accenture, Raghavan played a key role in setting up and establishing Accenture’s outsourcing practice in India, as well as setting up the Life Sciences practice under the Products operating group and eventually leading outsourcing delivery for both the Products and Health and Public Service operating groups. He has a strong process orientation and expertise in program management, package implementation, rollout and support, and managing large portfolios, while working both onshore and offshore.

Raghavan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai, as well as additional certifications, including Project Management Professional, Six Sigma Greenbelt and Design For Six Sigma

Mac Ghani
Executive General Manager, Australia

As Executive General Manager Australia, Mac Ghani and his team are responsible for accelerating the growth of Avanade’s business in Australia and leading a team of more than 500+ professionals based in five offices: Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

Before the appointment, Mac served as General Manager for Avanade’s business in Central Canada. In addition to his proven capability in building business momentum, Mac brings with him an expansive portfolio accumulated from his experience working with clients in the public sector, financial services and oil and gas industries.

Mac first joined Avanade in 2004 as a Capability Lead at the Canberra office, before moving to Avanade’s Melbourne office where he focused on clients which included some of Australia’s largest banks. In his role as Avanade Australia’s Chief Technology Officer, Mac focused on the application of innovative solutions and services on the Microsoft ecosystem, combined with bold, fresh thinking, to help Avanade’s clients realise business results. Mac subsequently took on the position of Malaysia Country Manager, where he demonstrated his capabilities in adapting quickly to the diversity of cultures and embracing an entrepreneurial mindset to drive the growth of Avanade’s business and its team in the country.

He has a graduate Masters in Business and Technology from the University of South Wales.

Ben Beath
Digital Innovation Studio Lead

As the Executive lead for Avanade’s Digital Innovation Studio in Australia, Ben Beath leads a team of more than 100 designers, technologists and strategists. The Digital Innovation Studio helps organisations and enterprises accelerate the pace of digital transformation through Experience Design, Rapid Prototyping and platform builds.

Ben joined Avanade in 2018 as part of the acquisition of Loud&Clear, which he co-founded and grew into one of Australia’s leading independent digital agencies. Ben has also co-founded and exited a number of start-ups in both HR Tech and Sports.

He has a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Business from Monash University.

Bernadette Harkin
Delivery Capability Lead

Bernadette joined Avanade in 2016 to establish the North American Advisory practice. Advisory works with clients to facilitate their vision, enabling them to execute their strategy. More recently, Bernadette has returned to Australia and has been appointed the Executive to lead Delivery for Avanade Australia.

After many years of working and living in Europe, Asia and North America, Bernadette returned to Australia. Bernadette has a wealth of global experience working with organisations all over the world and is skilled at leading design-based thinking engagements focused on driving strategic business outcomes. As a personal interest, she follows innovation of technology and how it can brighten the future outlook.

Bernadette lives in Sydney with her family and enjoys the outdoor life.

Carol Gobby
Senior Sales Executive for Products Operating Group

Carol Gobby is the Senior Sales Executive for Avanade Products Operating Group who works with consumer-related industries and some of Australia’s icon brands to help them grow and innovate.

Carol has more than 20 years’ experience in the information technology and services industry and returned to Avanade in January 2018. She is highly skilled in Business Development, Account Leadership, Partner Management, Enterprise Software, Customer Experience and Digital Transformation.

Carol is an Idea’s person, who believes that we can always improve and stretch our thinking to innovate and see ahead of the curve, both inside and outside our organisation. Enabling rapid change to shifting market landscapes, emerging technology and digital disruption.

Modern Workplace Market Unit Lead

Chris is the Modern Workplace Market Unit Lead for Avanade Australia. Where he and his team work as trusted advisors to help organisations modernise and move beyond the status quo of routine IT. By understanding the unique roadblocks they’re facing in their modern workplace journey, they work collaboratively to develop a new roadmap for achieving their objectives.

With nearly two decades in the IT industry, Chris is a passionate leader and focused around building successful teams. Chris prides himself on his ability to deliver results for clients by setting an agenda and keeping a project moving. As a thought leader and strategist in the Modern Workplace, he leverages his expertise to help organisations realise the full potential of their workplace and employee experience.

Corinna Reeves
OG Lead Resources Sector

As our National OG Lead for Resources Sector, Corinna has returned to Avanade and leads the Resources Services team to continue building and expanding the Accenture, Microsoft and Avanade strategic alliance and help drive growth and customer advocacy for Australia’s leading mining and resources customers. Corinna believes in the lifetime value of customers and engaging with them as partners and brings over 20 years in Strategic Sales, Project Management and Operations Management roles within the Management Consulting and Technology, HR and Professional Services firms within Australia. Her client engagements and projects have been within Public and Health Sector, Financial Services, Retail and brings over 10+ years in resources and energy industry supporting customers such as BG Group, Anglo American, Rio Tinto, Arrow Energy, Origin, Energy Queensland and Powerlink.

Corinna’s background is developing and delivering business advisory services, digital technology solutions, ERP and large enterprise outsourcing solutions and enjoys helping customers navigate and embrace the next wave of digital disruption to customers globally, Australia and Asia. “Over a third of businesses don’t feel they are able to disrupt themselves in the face of digital change, I enjoy educating and helping customers navigate, plan to prepare their business practices and policies that will adapt to digital disruption without getting caught up in the hype”.

At home, Corinna enjoys spending time with her partner and teenage daughter, working on her 40 acre equine property, continuously learning the art of Classical Dressage and through Animal Rescue Queensland, fosters, rehabilitates and re-homes large bred dogs.

Debra (Deb) is the Marketing Lead for Avanade Australia and is responsible for their Brand, Communications and Marketing activities. Deb joined Avanade in 2014 after gaining significant services and technology marketing experience through over 14 years in the Big 4 Professional services environment.

The success that Deb has achieved through her career has come from her focus on and commitment to clients. She believes strongly in the value of her network and has worked hard to maintain relationships and ensure those connections are mutually beneficial. She is passionate about people; Diversity and Inclusion and, of course, the Avanade orange!

Deb holds a Masters of Marketing (RMIT); Grad Dip in Industrial Relations (University of Melbourne); Grad Dip in Business ,Accounting (Holmesglen Tafe) ; and Bachelor of Arts, Psychology & History (Flinders University).

Australia Regional Capability Lead
Deirdre leads the Australian Talent communities and is responsible for a team of over 200 people who deliver innovative solutions to our clients leveraging the Microsoft ecosystem. She joined Avanade in July 2015 and has played numerous leadership roles across the different Talent Communities before becoming the Regional Capability Lead. With over 15 years consulting experience she is passionate about designing and delivering innovative solutions that provide tangible practical outcomes. Deirdre holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Trinity College Dublin; lives in Brisbane and loves to run and spend time with her family and friends during her spare time.

Communications, Media & Technology Operating Group Lead

Deon leads the Communications, Media & Technology Operating Group in Australia with responsibility for growth, the go-to-markets across the CMT sector and client outcomes and engagement.

Deon joined Avanade in 2007 and has performed a variety of consulting and client-facing leadership roles spanning Financial Services, Government and Resources industries to add to the CMT focus. Deon is a strong practitioner in building high performing teams and enabling career growth and opportunity for those he works with and most memorable experience have been when bringing together different skills and experiences to achieve a greater outcome.

Deon is passionate about the Communications, Media & Technology space as its going through so much technology-enabled change and disruption which is having a huge impact on the lives of everyone right now. So much is changing so quickly and it is the CMT space that is the platform for all this change. The thing that gets Deon him up in the morning is knowing that helping our customers to transform and grow their business in this way has such a direct impact.

Outside of work enjoys his time running around with his wife and two young children and riding a bike!

Eugene joined Avanade Australia in May 2016 as Vice President, Advisory Services. In this role, he is responsible for a diverse and talented group of digital strategists, creatives and technologists who are passionate about helping our clients succeed in the digital age. Prior to Avanade, Eugene worked with a global management consultancy with a focus on strategy, innovation and customer centric transformation programs. Eugene studied at the University of Melbourne with degrees in Commerce and Information Systems. Outside of work, Eugene’s kept busy with his two sons, a passion for travelling and keeping fit.

As Finance Director, Kevin is responsible for Avanade’s accounting and finance operations function for Australia.   Joining Avanade in 2011, Kevin had prior experience of over 10 years in finance, commercial and pricing experience in software and IT outsourcing sectors. He has held Country and Area roles providing support to operations in Australia, pan-Asia and Japan with CSC, Oracle Corporation and Adobe Systems. Kevin has a Bachelor of Commerce and Arts from Monash University, Victoria – along with a Graduate Diploma in Accounting and is a Certified Practicing Accountant.
Linda Jackson
Director, Human Resources
Linda has over 15 years Human Resources experience, most recently working in HR Leadership roles at the University of Melbourne and AGL. She has extensive experience across all aspects of HR and employee relations, and will support our continued evolution towards Imagine2020, and further develop our talent as part of our intent to become a remarkable business. On a personal level, Linda has spent 10 years in the Army Reserve, has two children in high school and has a passion for health and well-being, reading, writing and running. Linda is based in Melbourne.

Lourens moved across from Accenture Technology Consulting to Avanade as one of the Avanade South Africa founding team 5 years ago where Lourens performed various roles including leading the Infrastructure, CRM and Collaboration Service Lines, CTIO and currently Market Unite lead for both Digital and Cloud.

Lourens started his career in technology with an open source start-up, building custom open-source solutions for the financial services and automotive industry backed with global Venture Capital funding, then moved on to work with various global technology companies before joining Accenture and Avanade.

He holds a bachelor of commerce majoring in Management and Economics, as well as various industry qualifications.

Lourens is passionate about building successful teams and harnessing the potential of technology to change things for the better.

He spends his spare time on very “un-digital” pursuits such as furthering his studies, and spending quality time in the outdoors with his wife and two boys.

Market Unit Lead, Business Applications

As the Australian Lead for Business Applications, Mark and his team are responsible for the growth of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance and Operations + Sales, Service and Marketing) and Digital Marketing capabilities across our five locations: Brisbane, Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

Developing solutions for customers that delivers on the promise of innovation and more importantly, improves the customer experience is my focus and a passion. Working with a team of people that share that passion is always critical to success and with the global team at Avanade inclusive of Microsoft and Accenture, I believe the right combination is in place to make a real difference.

Being a part of a great team at Avanade, I have the opportunity to work with and be a part of the development of our Digital Customer team that is focused on amazing innovation - things that excite our customers and their customers in the retail, financial services, entertainment and government industry sectors. As we know, it's all about personalisation as the key to unlocking the customer experience, so for me it’s that concept of personalisation that underpins how the our clients need refocus their business on the customer centric business model and the processes and tech that goes with it.

Rod Hooper
Director, Legal

Rod returned to Avanade in 2017 to take up the role of Legal Counsel responsible for managing the legal services for the Australian operations. Rod is an experienced lawyer specialising in providing comprehensive in-house legal services and has experience across multiple jurisdictions including Australia/New Zealand, South East Asia, the UK and the US.

Despite being Brisbane based Rod is a keen snow-boarder but also enjoys hiking and strength training.

Rod has always had a passion for technology and subsequently returned to QUT to complete a Bachelor of Information Technology. Since then Rod has specialised in providing in-house legal services to ICT companies including previously working for Avanade (2005 to 2009).

Rod holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Queensland University of Technology and spent the early years of his career as a Crown Prosecutor and later as a lawyer with the Australian Securities and Investment Commission.

Saurabh Verma
Financial Services OG Lead

Saurabh leads the Financial Services team in Australia with responsibility for driving sales and how we go to market in the Financial Services sector.
He re-joined Avanade Australian in 2009 and has since played roles spanning Practice Lead, CTO team, and then moving in to sales. His background is in Distributed Agile delivery, Software Engineering, and Solution Architecture across the UK and Australia in the Banking and Insurance sectors.
Saurabh has a passion for technology and helps clients understand and rotate to the new, whether it be Customer Experiences, Intelligent Automation, Cloud Capability, or Employee centric delivery.
