Adam works closely with the Avanade Board of Directors and his leadership team to realise our mission of making a genuine impact on our clients and their customers through solutions based on the Microsoft platform.
Adam joined Avanade at its inception in April, 2000, and as one of the founding members, was instrumental in building the company and shaping its culture. A senior leader, Adam has significant experience managing and growing Avanade’s business operations, having served as General Manager and Senior Vice President for the company’s North American and European operations during his tenure. As Executive Vice President, he has also led Avanade’s worldwide sales and marketing teams, and set the vision and direction for Avanade solutions.
A true global citizen, Adam has lived in both Europe and North America, and has frequently traveled the globe visiting Avanade clients and regional offices.
Adam came to Avanade from Microsoft, where he was General Manager of the Midwest District, responsible for sales and support of Microsoft software throughout Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. Prior to this position, he was General Manager of Microsoft's Enterprise Services, responsible for implementing the strategy and plans for Microsoft's direct and partner services organisations focused on enterprise customers.
Adam is a member of the Heidrick & Struggles board of directors, where he is helping to bring insights into new and emerging technologies. Adam holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College, London.
Ken Guthrie holds dual roles at Avanade: Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer. As CFO, Ken is responsible for all of Avanade’s investment strategy and management, as well as its financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, tax, internal audit, financial planning and treasury. As COO, he is responsible for the company’s operating performance and global business operations.
Ken joined Avanade in 2012 after a 19-year career at Accenture, where he was a senior executive focusing on client financial management, program management, business operations and negotiation/commercial disciplines. For the last 5 years at Accenture, he was the Director of Operations and Finance for Accenture’s $2 billion Resources North America operating group.
Ken is a graduate of Arizona State University.
As Chief Human Resources Officer, Dave Gartenberg is responsible for the strategic direction of all aspects of Avanade’s people management, including training and development, performance management and succession planning. He also plays a key role in helping to enhance the employee experience and advance Avanade as a digital workplace.
Dave comes to Avanade from Slalom, where he was the CHRO for the past four years during a period of high growth. Dave began his career as an economic analyst, before shifting direction to organisational effectiveness. Earlier in his career, he spent 13 years at Microsoft in a variety of roles, including HR general manager of the company’s Customer Services and Support organisation.
Dave holds an MBA with a concentration in organisational behaviour.
As Avanade Chief Information & Security Officer, Bob Bruns is responsible for Avanade’s internal enterprise technology and for delivering the technology capabilities that power the company’s people and operations worldwide. In addition, he is responsible for Avanade information security, client data protection, incident management, asset protection, and business continuity programmes. As CI&SO, Bob and his teams work with clients to ensure we meet their information security obligations.
Previously Bob was Vice President of Infrastructure Services and Global Operations, accountable for delivery of Avanade’s enterprise infrastructure services worldwide, including security, end-user enablement, collaboration, hosting and network services. Earlier in his career, he spent 14 years with Accenture, serving as Director of Unified Communications & Collaboration Services.
Bob holds a degree in Information Decision Science from the University of Illinois, as well as advanced leadership programme certifications from the Foster School of Business, University of Washington, and the Haas School of Business, University of California Berkeley.
As CMO, Stella Goulet leads Avanade’s marketing strategy and award-winning global marketing team. She is responsible for guiding the company’s image and market development through a period of high growth and significant change in the IT industry as businesses become increasingly digital. She is Avanade’s first CMO and a member of its executive leadership team.
In her career, Stella has covered every marketing aspect of a business-to-business services firm: packaging and promoting solutions, field marketing, content and thought leadership development, branding, advertising, digital marketing, media and analyst relations, and marketing for major acquisitions.
She is a member of Forrester’s CMO Group and has served on the Information Technology Services Marketing Association (ITSMA) Advisory Board. Stella speaks and writes on a variety of marketing-related topics that focus on helping grow profitable businesses in the digital world. These include client experience, the CMO-CIO relationship, digital marketing, agile marketing and the role of artificial intelligence in marketing.
A strong proponent of diversity in the IT industry, she is executive sponsor of Avanade’s Prism Employee Resource Group (LGBT + inclusion), and is involved in activities designed to encourage girls and young women to consider careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
Stella holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was a Morehead-Cain Scholar.
David leads the company's global legal group and serves as principal legal advisor to Avanade’s executive leadership and board of directors. He also serves as corporate secretary to the board of directors and contributes to Avanade’s overall strategy as a member of its executive leadership team.
David came to Avanade from Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company where he was Associate General Counsel of Global Commercial Operations responsible for legal aspects of the company’s global commercial operations. Previously, he held legal leadership roles at Honeywell, where he served as Vice President and General Counsel for Latin America and Canada, and Andersen Worldwide, where he served as Global Lead Counsel for Business Consulting and Global Lead Counsel for Expansions.
David holds a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School and a B.A. from Northwestern University

Chief Growth Officer Ashish Kumar is responsible for driving strategic and operational initiatives to accelerate Avanade’s growth. As part of that portfolio, he oversees the global departments for sales, alliances, innovation, industry and strategy.
From 2008 to 2013, Ashish was President, Europe, Africa and Latin America. He joined Avanade at its inception as Chief Technology Officer and served in this role from 2000 to 2008. During his tenure, he established Avanade’s global delivery capability in India and the Philippines.
Prior to Avanade, Ashish was general manager of Microsoft’s Industry Solutions Group, a consulting unit that delivered the first generation of Microsoft-based enterprize-scale solutions across vertical markets. Ashish started his career in database product engineering at Digital Equipment Corporation.
Ian Jordan leads Avanade’s forward-looking client and market strategy, ensuring that Avanade remains ahead of the market by assessing, adapting and accelerating innovation to drive an exceptional client experience across the company’s global business operations.
Ian has held a number of leadership posts in his Avanade career. Previously he served as president of Avanade’s Growth Markets, responsible for business operations in Australia, Brazil, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and South Africa. He also has led Avanade’s sales, marketing, alliances, innovation and industry focuses, and served as GM of Avanade’s UK region.
Ian holds a combined honors degree in environmental science from the University of Exeter, a postgraduate degree from St. Luke’s College and a diploma in computer science.
Pamela Maynard is responsible for spearheading the strategy of Avanade’s Market Units, offerings and services worldwide. In this role, she oversees the Business Applications, Digital and Modern IT Market Units, the innovation, incubation and development of new offerings, Avanade’s Advisory Services, and the company’s delivery organisation. Prior to her current role, Pamela was president of Avanade Europe, where she directed strategy and operations across 13 European geographies. She also previously held the role of General Manager of Avanade UK.
Pamela came to Avanade from Capgemini, where she led its Accelerated Development Centres and IT performance improvement for global clients. She also has held IT strategy and program management positions at Ernst & Young and consultancy roles at Oracle.
Bernie Neville leads Avanade’s Global Business Management organisation. She is responsible for managing the company operating system, which includes oversight of strategy implementation and management of key leadership forums. In addition, Bernie works across all business units and functions to drive continuous improvement and simplification of business activities to improve performance and effectiveness.
Previously Bernie served as Europe’s chief operating officer, responsible for executing Avanade’s strategy and operational excellence across all European regions, as well as managing Avanade’s expansion into Brazil and South Africa. Earlier in her Avanade career, Bernie held a number of global and European roles focused on geographic expansion, enterprise process and systems implementation, alliance management and business operations management.
In addition to her 15 years with Avanade, Bernie spent 10 years at Andersen Consulting (Accenture) as a process and technology consulting advisor working with clients in the UK, Ireland, France and Latin America to implement business solutions to drive improved business performance and growth.
Bernie holds a business degree from University College Dublin.
Tom Rosinski leads Avanade’s global Business Applications Market Unit, which includes responsibility for the company’s Dynamics 365 business.
Tom who has more than 35 years of ERP professional services experience, came to Avanade in 2016 from IBM, where he held multiple leadership roles. Tom holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and computer management from Eastern Illinois University.
Florin Rotar, who leads Avanade’s global Digital Market Unit, is driven by the power of technology to help people do and achieve more and to empower businesses to compete smarter.
Curious by nature and a technologist by trade ever since he wrote his first program on a Commodore 64 as a child, Florin previously held the post of Chief Technology Innovation Officer. He has had key roles in establishing and growing Avanade’s business in the UK and the Nordic region, both as a consultant and as a leader. His early career was with Accenture, Procter & Gamble and as a start-up entrepreneur.
Florin is a world citizen, having spent most of his adult life working in five European capitals. He and his family now call Seattle home.
Executive Rich Stern has responsibility for the growth, market leadership and delivery of offerings in Avanade’s Modern IT Market Unit. In addition, he is responsible for Avanade’s cloud platforms, services and offerings business, helping our clients leverage the advantages of the cloud.
Previously he served as the global lead responsible for coordinating and guiding the effective execution of Avanade strategy across its digital, cloud, technology services and business applications portfolios. Earlier, he led Avanade’s global Technology Infrastructure organsation and served as the Workplace Transformation Services global lead, helping companies transform their workplace environments through the strategic use of the latest technologies, processes and delivery models. Rich also has held a number of leadership roles in sales and technology delivery.
Rich came to Avanade from Hewlett-Packard and spent six years at Microsoft as general manager of the Industry Solutions Group. Rich holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Saint John's University.
As President, Europe, Darren Hardman is responsible for directing strategy and operations across Avanade Europe’s 13 geographies. Darren holds a dual role, also serving as General Manager of the UK, a post he has held since 2016. Prior to his current position, Darren was Chief Operating Officer of Avanade’s North America Area, responsible for developing and executing the North America business strategy, including sales, organisational strategy and core business functions.
Earlier in his Avanade career, Darren was Global Senior Vice President, Sales, introducing a global customer segmentation taxonomy, a uniform planning process, a single global sales cycle process and structured account management. Prior to joining Avanade, Darren spent more than 15 years at Accenture, most recently as a senior executive within the Technology Growth Platform.
Darren holds a degree in Econometrics (Economics & Mathematics) from the University of Nottingham, U.K., and an MBA with Distinction from Imperial College London, U.K.
Anna Di Silverio, president of Growth Markets, is responsible for Avanade’s accelerated growth and business operations in Australia, Brazil, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and South Africa.
Previously Anna served as Growth Markets’ chief operating officer, responsible for executing Avanade’s strategy and operational excellence across all Growth Markets regions. Earlier in her Avanade career, she was general manager of Avanade Italy. Under her leadership, the Italy region consistently delivered year-on-year double-digit growth, driven by Anna’s commitment to building a high-performing team and diverse workforce; a strong collaborative partnership with Accenture and Microsoft; and a relentless focus on helping Avanade clients realise results, attributes she brings to all subsequent roles.
Anna has 15 years of Microsoft experience, holding different roles and responsibilities in the areas of services and sales, most recently as Microsoft Services Director and as Public Sector Director. She began her career as a networking architecture researcher in the Computer Sciences Department of the University of Pisa. Earlier in her career, she was a software architect.
Anna holds a degree in computer sciences from the University of Pisa.
As President, North America, Dave Seybold is responsible for guiding the sales, delivery and operations of Avanade's largest business. Working closely with the United States and Canada leadership team, Dave is responsible for delivering consistent, high-quality results for Avanade's North American clients.
Dave joined Avanade as global Chief Operating Officer in 2015 and, as part of his role, was the executive sponsor for Microsoft Dynamics, one of the fastest growing segments in the Microsoft portfolio. Dave has a deep understanding of the business and market opportunities we have in the market. Prior to Avanade, Dave spent more than 25 years with IBM as a systems engineer, consultant, partner and leader in Global Business Services.
He holds a BS in Quantitative Analysis and a BA in Economics from Penn State University, an MS in Operations Research and an MBA from the University of Maryland, Smith School of Business.
Craig Gorsline leads Avanade's Advisory Services practices, is responsible for driving Avanade’s global innovation strategy and new offering development, and provides executive leadership for Avanade’s cloud managed services business. As part of his portfolio, he works closely with Accenture and Microsoft to align Avanade’s focus on innovation and emerging technologies around the world.
Previously Craig was President, Co-CEO and Chief Commercial Officer of ThoughtWorks, a global technology firm with a digital engineering focus, where he was accountable for driving revenues of more than $500 million in technology and consulting services. Prior to ThoughtWorks, Craig spent time as a senior executive at JPMorganChase in the Treasury Services Technology Group, as well as with a boutique technology consulting firm in Canada.
Craig holds a degree in criminology and psychology from Simon Fraser University and an MBA in digital technologies from Royal Roads University.

Raghavan Iyer has more than 22 years of experience in the IT sector and has held leadership positions in companies such as Honeywell, Syntel and Accenture prior to joining Avanade in 2010.
Raghavan currently leads Avanade Advanced Technology Centers, overseeing more than 24,390 professionals across the world.
During his tenure at Accenture, Raghavan played a key role in setting up and establishing Accenture’s outsourcing practice in India, as well as setting up the Life Sciences practice under the Products operating group and eventually leading outsourcing delivery for both the Products and Health and Public Service operating groups. He has a strong process orientation and expertise in program management, package implementation, rollout and support, and managing large portfolios, while working both onshore and offshore.
Raghavan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai, as well as additional certifications, including Project Management Professional, Six Sigma Greenbelt and Design For Six Sigma
Dion Walker serves as the interim Managing Director of Avanade Australia and is also the COO for Avanade Growth Markets. Dion joined Avanade in January 2005 as Director of Finance and Operations and has undertaken several key executive roles over the years including Finance, Delivery, Operations Lead roles prior to his current role as interim General Manager. He is an experienced executive working within international and multi-cultural environments, enhanced with the ability to grow and manage high performing teams and business outcomes within Australia, Asia, Japan, Africa, UK and Latin America.
Dion is based in Sydney, he is married with two teenage boys and his interests outside work include ocean swimming, cycling and is a rugby fan.
Dion holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Western Sydney.
Guhan joined Avanade in January 2016 with over 20 years consulting experience encompassing business management with P&L responsibility, business development, program/project management of large SI implementations and supply chain transformation.
Guhan has held senior leadership roles for organisations such as PwC Consulting, IBM and most recently TechnologyOne Corporation. He has led local, regional and international teams across a number of domains and solutions encompassing SAP, Oracle, TechnologyOne and Microsoft. He also participates in a number of mentoring activities outside of work.
Guhan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Technology, Sydney.
Now based in Melbourne, Guhan’s interests outside work includes exploring new restaurants, international travel, sport (AFL, Soccer & Cricket) and family.
Harrison has 20 years of management consulting experience across a range of geographies, industries and client sizes. He has extensive experience as a trusted advisor, leading and influencing significant ERP programmes across the sales, solution and delivery lifecycle. Harrison is an innovative leader in the creation and delivery of strategic IT and business plans to align business needs and competitive offerings. He is a leader who is able to communicate and translate requirements into effective solutions, manage commercial and technical complexities to ensure success.
Harrison is experienced in selling complex opportunities, managing large ERP implementation projects, establishing IT strategy aligned to business objectives and performance improvement initiatives. Harrison has strong negotiation skills and a proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders to achieve sales and project outcomes. Harrison’s industry and operational skills have been utilised in a variety of roles including business development, business transformation, process improvement and ERP implementations.
As Finance Director, Kevin is responsible for Avanade’s accounting and finance operations function for Australia. Joining Avanade in 2011, Kevin had prior experience of over 10 years in finance, commercial and pricing experience in software and IT outsourcing sectors. He has held Country and Area roles providing support to operations in Australia, pan-Asia and Japan with CSC, Oracle Corporation and Adobe Systems. Kevin has a Bachelor of Commerce and Arts from Monash University, Victoria – along with a Graduate Diploma in Accounting and is a Certified Practicing Accountant.
Linda has over 15 years Human Resources experience, most recently working in HR Leadership roles at the University of Melbourne and AGL. She has extensive experience across all aspects of HR and employee relations, and will support our continued evolution towards Imagine2020, and further develop our talent as part of our intent to become a remarkable business. On a personal level, Linda has spent 10 years in the Army Reserve, has two children in high school and has a passion for health and well-being, reading, writing and running. Linda is based in Melbourne.
Rod returned to Avanade in 2017 to take up the role of Legal Counsel responsible for managing the legal services for the Australian operations. Rod is an experienced lawyer specialising in providing comprehensive in-house legal services and has experience across multiple jurisdictions including Australia/New Zealand, South East Asia, the UK and the US.
Despite being Brisbane based Rod is a keen snow-boarder but also enjoys hiking and strength training.
Rod has always had a passion for technology and subsequently returned to QUT to complete a Bachelor of Information Technology. Since then Rod has specialised in providing in-house legal services to ICT companies including previously working for Avanade (2005 to 2009).
Rod holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Queensland University of Technology and spent the early years of his career as a Crown Prosecutor and later as a lawyer with the Australian Securities and Investment Commission.
Deirdre leads the Australian Talent communities and is responsible for a team of over 200 people who deliver innovative solutions to our clients leveraging the Microsoft ecosystem. She joined Avanade in July 2015 and has played numerous leadership roles across the different Talent Communities before becoming the Regional Capability Lead. With over 15 years consulting experience she is passionate about designing and delivering innovative solutions that provide tangible practical outcomes. Deirdre holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Trinity College Dublin; lives in Brisbane and loves to run and spend time with her family and friends during her spare time.
Bernadette joined Avanade in 2016 to establish the North American Advisory practice. Advisory works with clients to facilitate their vision, enabling them to execute their strategy. More recently, Bernadette has returned to Australia and has been appointed the Executive to lead Delivery for Avanade Australia.
After many years of working and living in Europe, Asia and North America, Bernadette returned to Australia. Bernadette has a wealth of global experience working with organisations all over the world and is skilled at leading design-based thinking engagements focused on driving strategic business outcomes. As a personal interest, she follows innovation of technology and how it can brighten the future outlook.
Bernadette lives in Sydney with her family and enjoys the outdoor life.
Sandy leads the Australian Service Lines and joined Avanade in 2015. Sandy is responsible for a team of over 200 people who deliver innovative Microsoft solutions for clients. Sandy’s previous roles include CIO at Helly Hansen, where she was instrumental in transforming Helly Hansen’s collaboration and communication environment through the implementation of Office365, Sharepoint On-line and Lync Enterprise Voice. In addition to her experience as a CIO, she has also spent many years in technology consulting, assisting organisations achieve greater business value through technology solutions. Sandy graduated from Monash University in Melbourne with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Computing). In her spare time Sandy can be found either spending time with her family or keeping fit by playing squash, running or downhill skiing.
Eugene joined Avanade Australia in May 2016 as Vice President, Advisory Services. In this role, he is responsible for a diverse and talented group of digital strategists, creatives and technologists who are passionate about helping our clients succeed in the digital age. Prior to Avanade, Eugene worked with a global management consultancy with a focus on strategy, innovation and customer centric transformation programs. Eugene studied at the University of Melbourne with degrees in Commerce and Information Systems. Outside of work, Eugene’s kept busy with his two sons, a passion for travelling and keeping fit.
Debra (Deb) is the Marketing Lead for Avanade Australia and is responsible for their Brand, Communications and Marketing activities. Deb joined Avanade in 2014 after gaining significant services and technology marketing experience through over 14 years in the Big 4 Professional services environment.
The success that Deb has achieved through her career has come from her focus on and commitment to clients. She believes strongly in the value of her network and has worked hard to maintain relationships and ensure those connections are mutually beneficial. She is passionate about people; Diversity and Inclusion and, of course, the Avanade orange!
Deb holds a Masters of Marketing (RMIT); Grad Dip in Industrial Relations (University of Melbourne); Grad Dip in Business ,Accounting (Holmesglen Tafe) ; and Bachelor of Arts, Psychology & History (Flinders University).
Matt joined Avanade in 2003 and has more than 20 years of consulting, business leadership and IT transformation experience focused primarily on Microsoft based technology transformations.
He has held numerous positions at Avanade including program delivery, IT architecture, account management, strategy development and people leadership. Prior to Avanade, Matt held senior positions at Hewlett Packard and prior to that, worked at various UK financial institutions, supporting their trading systems.
Matt’s interests include participating in triathlons, snow-boarding and spending time with his wife and two children.
Lourens moved across from Accenture Technology Consulting to Avanade as one of the Avanade South Africa founding team 5 years ago where Lourens performed various roles including leading the Infrastructure, CRM and Collaboration Service Lines, CTIO and currently Market Unite lead for both Digital and Cloud.
Lourens started his career in technology with an open source start-up, building custom open-source solutions for the financial services and automotive industry backed with global Venture Capital funding, then moved on to work with various global technology companies before joining Accenture and Avanade.
He holds a bachelor of commerce majoring in Management and Economics, as well as various industry qualifications.
Lourens is passionate about building successful teams and harnessing the potential of technology to change things for the better.
He spends his spare time on very “un-digital” pursuits such as furthering his studies, and spending quality time in the outdoors with his wife and two boys.
