In this role, he is responsible for growing Avanade’s presence in the sector and the transformation we deliver to NGO’s using the Microsoft platform. His role also includes partnering with Microsoft and Accenture (Avanade’s parent organisations) to increase our joint support to Nonprofits’ missions. He has over 25 years of experience in the technology consulting and implementation fields.

Innes is also Chief of Staff to Avanade’s CEO, and spent three years working across UK Health and Public Service organisations prior to leading the Nonprofit sector for Avanade.

Lise af Ekenstam is a strategic marketing professional with 20+ years’ experience in running high performing marketing programs, driving strategic change and marketing performance improvement initiatives in the IT/Professional services industry. Lise has been with Avanade for 7 years, previously running Global Marketing and Digital Effectiveness and currently leads Europe Marketing and oversees the Global Demand Centre. In addition, she is the Programme Lead for Avanade’s Tech for Social Good. Lise has an international career and education, being a Norwegian/USA national and having worked and studied in the USA, Italy, France, the UK and Norway. She has a Masters in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, an MBA from SDA Bocconi University and a BA in Economics from Brown University. She enjoys spending time with her husband Rikard, children William, Charlie and Kitty, and crazy springer spaniel Coco. When she can she loves to escape to the Norwegian mountains to ski.

Build an end to end solution using the Microsoft platform (design, build and migrate to platform solution using customer data platform / Customer Insight, AI, Azure data lake, CE and F&O). 4. Team with Microsoft and Avanade to reduce ICT investments for the NGO sector by sharing IP, insights and solutions.

Almin Surani

Almin Surani is the Global Nonprofit Advisor for Avanade. In this role, he is responsible for bringing Digital Transformation to Nonprofits so that they can fulfill their mission more effectively and efficiently. He has over 20 years of experience in the technology field in both private and non-profit companies. Prior to Amii, Almin was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the Canadian Red Cross for 10+ years and has served in senior roles ranging from software development to quality management to strategic planning. Almin received his MBA from Queen’s University in 2002. He has also served on the National Boards for the CIO Association of Canada, Nonprofit Technology Enterprise Network (NTEN) and is currently on the Advisory Board of Repay Payment Solutions.

Jean-Louis grew up in France at the onset of the digital age and found in technology the vehicle to quickly convert his ideas into new ways of working that transformed our world. His incessant curiosity led him to pioneer many technologies that we now take for granted: online banking, caller ID, internet access, global systems, B2B, digital trading, video conferencing, online advertising, and eHealth.

Jean-Louis spent the last 15 years giving back by accelerating the mission of The Nature Conservancy, transforming it into a cloud-based digital NGO and inventing breakthrough technologies to save our oceans.

Jean-Louis now serves with NetHope’s The Center of the Digital Nonprofit, an accelerator and the center of excellence for digital transformation in nonprofits.

He resides virtually on the Internet @jecochard and physically in New Zealand where he lives sustainably with his wife and daughters, blending roles of husband, dad and systems visionary.
