Book recommendation: Analog by Robert Hassan

Why I recommended this book: I think a lot about the post-pandemic world and the lack of in person interaction and how teams can take performance to the next level in this hybrid world. I look for ways that the old world and new world of technology can be merged and made better. I also want to believe the value in seeing colleagues face to face will continue to increase as we continue recovering from what we all experienced during the pandemic. I’m passionate about technology, but finding that balance with things you can touch and feel is so important to me. That’s what drew me to this book, which points out that in spite of the conveniences and wow factors of our digital lifestyles, we’re still craving real and more human experiences. The author uses a lot of interesting examples, e.g. vinyl records, to make his point – a quick and thought-provoking read.
