Tijdens de opdracht doet de student praktijkervaring op met moderne datatechnologieën, (AI-gestuurde) technieken en uitdagingen uit de echte wereld. Je werkt nauw samen met senior ingenieurs, ontwikkelaars en architecten en krijgt begeleiding gedurende de onderzoeks- en bouwfase.

De volgende 2 onderwerpen zijn voorbeelden van mogelijke afstudeeropdrachten en kan worden aangepast om aan te sluiten bij de interesses en behoeften van de student.

1. AI‑Supported Decision Recommendations in Analytics Solutions 

Beschrijving:

Van analytics wordt steeds vaker verwacht dat ze niet alleen beschrijven wat er is gebeurd, maar ook suggereren welke acties genomen moeten worden. Artificial intelligence kan deze verschuiving ondersteunen door patronen te identificeren en aanbevelingen voor te stellen. Slecht ontworpen AI-aanbevelingen kunnen echter de transparantie en het vertrouwen verminderen.  

Deze opdracht onderzoekt hoe AI op een verantwoorde en verklaarbare manier beslissingsaanbevelingen kan genereren. De student zal onderzoek doen naar de theorie van beslissingsondersteuning, aanbevelingslogica en ethische overwegingen zoals vooringenomenheid, verantwoordelijkheid en menselijke controle.  

Met behulp van openbare of synthetische data zal de student een Power BI proof of concept creëren waarbij AI-ondersteunde aanbevelingen worden gepresenteerd, samen met bewijs, aannames en onzekerheidsindicatoren. De nadruk ligt op het ondersteunen van menselijke beslissers in plaats van het automatiseren van beslissingen.

“Hoe kunnen door AI ondersteunde aanbevelingen de zakelijke besluitvorming verbeteren zonder de transparantie, controle of verantwoording te verminderen?”

2. Natural Language Analytics over a Semantic Model (GenAI) 

Beschrijving:

Business users verwachten steeds vaker met analytics te communiceren in natuurlijke taal. Veel oplossingen voor natural‑language analytics falen echter door dubbelzinnige vragen/slechte prompting, inconsistente definities en gebrek aan traceerbaarheid. Deze opdracht pakt deze tekortkomingen aan door GenAI te combineren met een sterke semantische basis.  

De student zal onderzoek doen naar natural‑language analytics, semantische modellering en business glossaries, met de nadruk op hoe definities en KPI-logica analytische correctheid beïnvloeden. De kernuitdaging is het ontwerpen van een interactie waarbij GenAI helpt bij het interpreteren van gebruikersvragen, maar alle berekeningen blijven gebaseerd op vooraf gedefinieerde bedrijfssemantiek.  

Een Power BI proof of concept zal laten zien hoe vragen in natuurlijke taal kunnen worden vertaald naar analytische vragen met behulp van een gecontroleerde semantische laag, waarbij GenAI helpt bij interpretatie en uitleg in plaats van berekening.

Je bent een 4e‑jaars HBO‑student of een WO‑masterstudent en op zoek naar een leerzame en uitdagende afstudeerstage per 1 september 2026 op het gebied van IT‑consultancy, met focus op data‑analyse en visualisatie;

Je hebt interesse in analytics, data‑analyse, business intelligence, datavisualisatie en het vertalen van businessvragen naar datagedreven inzichten;

Je hebt mogelijk al enige ervaring met data‑analyse en visualisatietools (Power BI), SQL, het werken met datasets en/of het verzamelen en structureren van requirements, of je wilt hier graag verder in groeien.

Responsabilidades

• Apoiar a gestão e o desenvolvimento do relacionamento com parceiros e revendas.

We are seeking a highly experienced Azure Enterprise Architect with a strong full stack engineering background and deep expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud architecture, enterprise application modernization, AI/GenAI solutions, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and large-scale delivery leadership.

The ideal candidate will possess 15+ years of progressive experience designing and delivering enterprise-grade solutions while leading distributed engineering teams across onshore and offshore models. This individual will serve as the primary technical authority for strategic initiatives, guiding architecture decisions, mentoring engineering teams, engaging directly with executive stakeholders, and ensuring successful project execution from inception through production.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep technical expertise across cloud, application development, infrastructure, networking, DevOps, and AI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and oversee enterprise-scale cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure aligned with business and technology strategies.
• Lead architecture and delivery for complex full stack applications using modern frontend technologies including React, Angular, TypeScript, and mobile frameworks when required.
• Provide technical leadership across backend platforms utilizing .NET, C#, Python, Node.js, microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems.
• Own end-to-end Azure architecture including networking, security, governance, identity management, observability, resilience, performance, and cost optimization.
• Define and implement enterprise Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and solution governance processes across multiple concurrent projects.
• Drive application modernization initiatives, cloud migrations, and hybrid cloud integration strategies.
• Guide engineering teams in designing and implementing AI and Generative AI solutions leveraging Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Agentic AI frameworks, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and enterprise AI architectures.
• Establish architecture standards, engineering best practices, coding standards, security requirements, and cloud governance frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with client executives, business stakeholders, product owners, program managers, and engineering leadership to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
• Lead globally distributed teams including architects, developers, DevOps engineers, data engineers, and QA resources across onshore and offshore delivery models.
• Drive Agile and Scrum practices while providing delivery oversight, risk management, estimation, roadmap planning, and technical project leadership.
• Mentor architects and senior engineers while establishing a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and develop strategic recommendations aligned with organizational objectives.
