Summary:

We are seeking a Consulting Lead for our Advisory & Experience team in India – a digital strategy and transformation leader who can drive innovation and value for our clients while collaborating with Avanade’s global network.

In this senior role, you will lead end-to-end client engagements, shape cutting-edge solutions in areas like experience design, AI transformation, and large-scale change, and ensure flawless delivery of digital initiatives.

This India-based leadership position is locally focused but truly part of a regional/global team – you will co-create with experts across Southeast Asia and worldwide, bringing the best of Avanade’s global expertise to solve local client challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Leadership & Engagement

• Lead client engagements and act as a day-to-day trusted advisor.

• Confidently engage senior stakeholders, including C-suite and agency leadership.

• Frame complex problems, guide decision-making, and build client confidence.

• Design and facilitate high-impact workshops (discovery, visioning, prioritisation, co-creation).

Strategy, Design & Problem Solving

• Apply Design Thinking and human-centred design to reimagine products, services, and operating models.

• Develop AI-enabled transformation roadmaps with a focus on automation, productivity uplift and process transformations.

• Translate ambiguous challenges into clear strategies, roadmaps, and action plans.

• Develop compelling, executive-ready presentations that tell a strong story.

• Balance strategic thinking with practical, buildable solutions with a focus on technology and AI enabled Transformations.

• Shape and sharpen digital products and experiences, working closely with architects and engineers across CRM, AI, data, and cloud platforms — with strong exposure to the Microsoft ecosystem (Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure Infra & Apps, Azure Data & AI, Copilot, and OpenAI). Also, exposure to other cloud and data platforms such as Google, AWS could be beneficial.

• Stay close to build: validate concepts through prototypes, backlog refinement, delivery trade-offs, and go‑live realities ensuring ideas survive contact with engineering and operations.

Team & Practice Leadership

• Actively contribute to practice growth in India, including capability building, talent development, and delivery excellence.

• Global Collaboration: Operate as part of Avanade’s regional Asia Pacific team and global community, sharing knowledge and co-delivering projects to bring the best global thinking to clients.

• Lead, mentor, and develop consultants, analysts, and designers across engagements.

• Set and uphold quality standards for storytelling, facilitation, and client deliverables.

• Support sales and presales activities including discovery workshops, proposal shaping, and client pitches.

• Build strong internal networks across India, Southeast Asia, and global Adx teams to scale impact.

Role Summary 

Avanade India’s Intelligence Data Platforms practice is looking for a Microsoft Fabric SME to be a deep technical specialist on modern data estate, data lake, data warehouse, and data migration projects built on Microsoft Fabric. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role for someone who wants to own the technical build — designing and implementing data pipelines and platform components, solving complex implementation challenges, and providing specialist guidance to the wider delivery team. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Design and build components of Microsoft Fabric solutions: OneLake, Lakehouse/Warehouse, Data Factory (Fabric) pipelines/dataflows, Real-Time Intelligence, and Power BI-based semantic and reporting layers. 

• Implement data ingestion, transformation, and modeling patterns for modern data estate builds — data lake, data warehouse, and lakehouse architectures. 

• Act as the technical specialist/go-to resource on Microsoft Fabric within project teams, resolving complex implementation issues and edge cases. 

• Execute data migration workstreams — moving data and workloads from legacy platforms (on-prem warehouses, Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, or other cloud data platforms) to Fabric. 

• Support the Fabric Architect/Lead in solution design, technical estimation, and implementation planning. 

• Write and review production-quality pipeline code and configurations; ensure adherence to engineering best practices, testing, and CI/CD standards. 

• Apply data governance and security practices during build — Purview integration, Fabric workspace governance, and data lineage. 

• Support post-go-live stabilization and production issue troubleshooting for deployed data solutions. 

• Guide junior data engineers on Microsoft Fabric implementation patterns and best practices, without formal team-lead accountability. 

• Contribute to reusable pipeline assets, accelerators, and technical documentation for the Data Engineering job family. 

• Stay current with the Fabric roadmap and broader Microsoft data platform ecosystem, evaluating new capabilities for project use.

Du kommer att hjälpa kunder att digitalisera och automatisera sina processer genom lösningar baserade på .Net, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse och Microsoft 365. Samtidigt får du möjlighet att utforska nya områden som Copilot Studio och AI-drivna lösningar.

Huvudsakliga arbetsuppgifter

• Utveckla moderna lösningar med Power Apps, Power Automate och Dataverse
• Bygga affärskritiska applikationer som kombinerar Power Platform med .NET och Azure
• Utveckla API:er, integrationer och anpassade komponenter med C# och .NET
• Integrera lösningar med Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint och externa affärssystem
• Automatisera manuella processer och arbetsflöden med hjälp av Power Platform och AI
• Delta i utvecklingen av Copilot- och agentbaserade AI-lösningar i Copilot Studio
• Arbeta med Azure-tjänster för integration, databehandling och automation
• Delta i design, utveckling, test och implementation av lösningar i nära samarbete med kunder och kollegor
• Samarbeta med arkitekter, utvecklare och konsulter i tvärfunktionella team för att skapa hållbara och skalbara lösningar
