AI and human collaboration in Health
Explore the perspectives of 600 healthcare and life sciences professionals on the potential and value of AI, based on research revealed in an Avanade AI Readiness Report.
Healthcare and life sciences professionals increasingly turning to AI
AI is proving transformative in modern health care delivery. From natural language processing to deep learning and machine learning, AI can enhance human decision-making and turn “smart” tasks like learning and reasoning into game-changing tools and technologies for patients, providers and researchers. Healthcare and life science leaders are increasingly turning to AI capabilities to streamline processes, reduce costs and improve outcomes and patient experience. In fact, according to the research, 56% of healthcare and life science professionals use AI daily in their current roles.
Top use cases help organizations invest in AI
Globally, most healthcare leaders view AI as a partner for improving access to care for patients and making the experience as seamless as possible. In life sciences, clinical trials and supply chain efficiency are ranked paramount to ensure the timely and reliable delivery of critical pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and other healthcare products.
Ninety-seven percent of healthcare and life science professionals said that investments in AI will be increasing up to 26% and 56% reported using AI daily in their current roles.
