LONDON, September 21, 2018

Avanade, the leading digital innovator on the Microsoft ecosystem, has appointed Andy Gillett as its General Manager (GM) for UK & Ireland (UK&I). Reporting to Europe President, Darren Hardman, Andy will be responsible for continuing to drive Avanade’s growth trajectory, helping clients digitally transform their businesses on the inside and out, by delivering its trademark innovation, deep advisory and implementation capabilities.

Andy joins Avanade following a 25 year career at Accenture, where he most recently led UKI sales for its Communications Media and Technology (CMT) business, and was part of the core leadership team. During his tenure, CMT experienced very strong revenue growth combined with extensive diversification and performance in Digital. Andy’s previous roles include running the UKI Media & Entertainment business and leading CMT Technology.

Andy holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Manchester.
