Main Responsibilities
  • You’ll participate in both presales and delivery activities. We strongly encourage acquiring experience on the job and use this experience in new proposals.
  • Participate in a cross technical team, with different Avanade Spain areas proposing innovative solutions providing your knowledge and expertise to solve cross-technology problems.
  • Apply your expertise in design, propose and defend scalable, high reliable cloud-ready solutions based on Azure value and meeting our customer needs.
  • Apply your expertise in technical and consulting knowledge to advise clients on fit-for-purpose architectures, ensure nonfunctional requirements as well as evolving business needs.
  • Work in projects that utilize Microsoft and latest front-end technologies in distributed, highly scalable, robust and responsive architectures.
  • Architect and deploy and Azure solutions across the Azure platform using DevSecOps practices with Azure Pipelines or GitHub Actions
  • Deliver using Agile frameworks, paying special attention to code quality, delivery commitments and team leadership.

As an Azure Data Engineer specialized in Microsoft Azure tools, you will support the implementation of projects focused on collecting, aggregating, storing, reconciling, and making data accessible from disparate sources to enable analysis and decision making. This role will also play a critical part in the data supply chain, by ensuring stakeholders can access and manipulate data for routine and ad hoc analysis. Additionally, you will support the full lifecycle of data from ingesting through analytics to action.

As a member of the Data Engineering team, you’ll have access to the research, knowledge, and tools to create leading-edge solutions across Avanade’s Business Intelligence practice. The role of Data Engineer is perfect for ambitious technologists passionate about working with the latest Microsoft cloud technology and Microsoft experts. Infrastructure AV

Cloud Resiliency Architect

Portugal

The Cloud Resiliency Architect will support customers through focused technical engagements aimed at improving the reliability, continuity, and recoverability of their cloud environments. The architect will combine deep technical expertise in Microsoft Azure with a strong command of disaster recovery, business continuity, and operational resiliency processes, including the design and evaluation of Major Incident Response Plans (MIRPs). 

This role requires the ability to assess both cloud infrastructure and resiliency processes end-to-end, identifying risks, aligning to best practices, and delivering clear, actionable recommendations that strengthen the customer’s ability to withstand and recover from disruptions. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Assess the resiliency posture of customer environments from both technical and operational perspectives. 

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of disaster recovery (DR) plans, business continuity (BC) strategies, and Major Incident Response Plans (MIRPs). 

  • Conduct in-depth technical analysis of cloud infrastructure, application dependencies, observability configurations, and failover capabilities. 

  • Review and enhance MIRPs, including escalation protocols, incident communication plans, recovery sequencing, and impact containment strategies. 

  • Identify risks, vulnerabilities, and single points of failure across workloads and operational processes. 

  • Recommend improvements aligned with the Azure Well-Architected Framework, SRE principles, and ITIL practices. 

  • Engage customer teams to understand RTO/RPO targets, recovery workflows, and coordination models for major incidents. 

  • Deliver professional, customer-facing documentation summarizing technical findings and process maturity recommendations.
