Avanade has acquired Alnamic AG, bolstering its Microsoft Dynamics expertise and footprint across Germany

Acquisition combines Alnamic’s specialism in manufacturing, wholesale and distribution with Avanade’s deep expertise across business solutions in the Microsoft ecosystem

Avanade, the leading digital innovator on the Microsoft ecosystem, today announces that it has completed the acquisition of Alnamic AG, a recognized leader in industry specific solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and AX in Germany.

With this move Avanade will further enhance its Microsoft Dynamics capabilities in Germany and its expertise within the wholesale, distribution and manufacturing sectors, where Alnamic was well-established. This acquisition will enable Avanade to offer German businesses a wide portfolio of tailored end-to-end Microsoft-based business transformation solutions, including cloud, Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence services.

“Alnamic possesses a deep expertise in combining enterprise solutions and IoT technology that will enable Avanade to further help those businesses in the manufacturing, distribution and wholesale sectors transform their entire value chain. We are excited to welcome Alnamic to our business, and to start delivering more ground-breaking enterprise experiences, bringing the benefits of cloud, IoT and artificial intelligence services to more businesses in Germany,” said Robert Goegele, Avanade general manager for the Austria, Switzerland and Germany region.

“In joining Avanade, we saw an opportunity to further the great work we’re already doing with our clients, allowing us to expand the portfolio of services that we can offer them. We see this acquisition as an opportunity to join a like-minded organization to drive closer relationships with our clients and deliver solutions that really address the challenges they are facing today and tomorrow,” said Thomas Muller, Alnamic CEO.

Avanade announced an intent to acquire Alnamic in September 2019. Exact terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
