Key responsibilities
Build senior executive relationships and map complex buying centers—engage C‑suite and SVP/VP leaders to align strategy to Microsoft-led transformation roadmaps.
Create and execute multi-year account plans—identify whitespace, craft value propositions, and convert pipeline into large programs and long-term managed engagements.
Lead end-to-end pursuits—set win strategy, coordinate solution/delivery/alliance stakeholders, and drive proposals, pricing, and commercial structures to close.
Drive Microsoft co-sell—build joint pursuit plans, align to Microsoft priorities, and leverage the partner ecosystem to accelerate enterprise wins.
Own forecasting and operating rhythm—pipeline hygiene, deal reviews, and clear stakeholder communication to deliver against annual targets.

Role snapshot (SMC: Small, Medium, Channel)
As a Business Development Sales Executive, you’ll own net-new and expansion opportunities across a territory of small and mid-market customers and partner-led accounts. You’ll run a high-velocity pipeline, build repeatable plays, and lead co-sell motions with Microsoft and channel partners—taking pursuits from first outreach through negotiation and close.
What success looks like
Build and progress a consistent pipeline through disciplined prospecting and partner-sourced lead flow.
Win Microsoft-powered services deals by running tight discovery, aligning solution teams, and leading pursuit execution.
Grow relationships through land-and-expand motions and clear account plans with Microsoft and channel partners.
Deal & candidate profile (to help you self-select)
You’ll be a strong fit if you can point to specific wins in net-new logo and can run a disciplined, high-activity motion in partnership with Microsoft and/or channel partners.
Typical deals: Microsoft-powered consulting/services (discovery → proposal/SOW (Statement of Work) → close).
Buying complexity: multi-stakeholder (Business + IT) with executive alignment required.
Your operating cadence: consistent prospecting, clean CRM (Customer Relationship Management System) hygiene, and weekly pipeline inspection.
Own the end-to-end sales cycle (prospect → discovery → solution shaping → proposal/SOW → negotiation → close) across net-new and expansion opportunities.
Build and convert a high-velocity pipeline through daily prospecting, outbound campaigns, and partner-sourced lead flow.
Lead Microsoft co-sell and channel motions: build joint account plans, activate partners, and run partner-led pursuits.
Run disciplined pursuit management: qualify fast, set a win strategy, mobilize delivery/solution teams, and manage internal approvals through contracting.
Develop and expand executive relationships: map stakeholders, create advocates, and position Avanade as a long-term partner.

- Konzeption und Umsetzung von Architekturen für Copilot-, Agenten- und KI-gestützte Businesslösungen
- Beratung von fachlichen und technischen Stakeholdern zur erfolgreichen Einführung und Nutzung von KI-Technologien
- Entwicklung und Einsatz von agentenbasierten Lösungen sowie Nutzung von Prompt Engineering zur Automatisierung von Geschäftsprozessen
- Identifikation von Wachstumspotenzialen und Weiterentwicklung bestehender Kundenlösungen gemeinsam mit technischen und vertrieblichen Teams
